After 5 years in the Merchant Banking Industry, George Masselos followed in his parents’ footsteps and entered into the fabric and clothing industry. George’s family had owned a fabric business for 16 years and a dry cleaning business prior to that. His father James Masselos owned an operated Gympie Dry Cleaners in the 1960’s before he moved to Sydney with the family. It was therefore a natural progression that George opened Centennial Dry Cleaners (Rose Bay) in 1990.

George has established himself as an industry leader based on the primary goals of excellent quality and outstanding customer service.
He makes it his aim to always keep abreast of the current technologies in the dry cleaning and laundry industries.
George has won many local and state awards including NSW Dry Cleaning of The Year twice.
He has been a Director of the National Dry Cleaning Institute since 2002 and is the current President of the NSW branch. He is a regular speaker at the Institute Seminars and Conferences.
